EXERCISE #7: Confidence Audit & Race-Ready Rehearsal

Mindset Exercise: Confidence Audit & Race-Ready Rehearsal

This week, you’re going to audit your confidence levels and reinforce them with proof and action.

Step 1: Confidence Audit (5-Minute Reflection)

Write down three things that make you feel most confident in training.

  • What’s the hardest session you’ve crushed?
  • What moment made you feel strongest?
  • When did you overcome a challenge that would’ve stopped a weaker athlete?

Keep this list visible for race week.

Step 2: Nightly Mental Rehearsal (7-Day Habit)

  • Before bed, close your eyes and mentally walk through race day.
  • Visualize yourself executing your strategy with confidence.
  • If doubt creeps in, counter it with a reminder of your preparation.

Step 3: Execution Game Plan (Write It Out)

  • What is one thing you can control 100% on race day?
  • Commit to making that your race-day focus, rather than chasing expectations.

Final Thought: Confidence Is a Choice—Backed by Work

Confidence is not a feeling. It’s a decision backed by preparation. The more proof you collect, the stronger you’ll be when it counts.

You don’t need to “believe” in yourself blindly. You just need to trust your work, rehearse success, and focus on execution.

🔹 Your mantra this week: “I don’t need hype—I have preparation.”
