Running Coaching Based on Current Fitness, Not Generic Pace Charts

QT2 coaches runners using a system built around current fitness, training intent, load management, durability, and race execution. Critical Speed serves as a central performance anchor for setting intensity and interpreting progression.

Training is not built by simply assigning a pace from a recent race and repeating the same schedule for months. The coach considers the athlete's current physiology, available training time, durability, fatigue, life stress, and event demands before deciding which type of training should come next.

QT2 works with runners preparing for events from shorter road races through the marathon. Our race-execution work includes course-specific preparation, pacing by effort, fueling, and decision-making under fatigue. The Boston Marathon is one example where QT2 has built dedicated course and execution resources.

If you are a runner who wants structure but also wants the structure to make sense, QT2 is designed to be explainable. Your coach should be able to tell you why a block was selected, what a key session is trying to accomplish, and why a meaningful adjustment was made.
