Use this calculator HERE to determine overall target pacing required to meet a target race time, and determine the running pace required to meet a target race pace, for those who may be utilizing a run/walk strategy. Each calculator can be used on its own, or in conjunction with the other.

TNT Heat/Humidity Adjustment Calculator

Use this Heat/Humidity adjustment calculator HERE to help you to adjust your pacing, when training/racing in conditions that may be warmer and/or more humid than you are accustomed to. It will adjust your target running wattage, target running pace, and/or your target heart rate, based upon how different the conditions are, than what you have acclimated for.

This is a running calculator that is designed to help you to adjust your pacing, when training/racing in conditions that may be warmer and/or more humid than you are accustomed to. It will adjust your target running wattage, target running pace, and/or your target heart rate, based upon how different the conditions are, than what you have acclimated for.

Instructions:
1. You must input a target running wattage, target running pace, and/or a target running HR, into the respective input fields.
Note: You may input a single target metric, any two target metrics, or all three target metrics. For example, if you are only running by heart rate, input only your target HR. If you are running by pace and HR, input those two metrics into their respective fields.

2. Select approximately how much warmer the running conditions will be than you are accustomed to running in. For example, if you have been training in 60-degree conditions, and today it is 75 degrees, then select “15” from the drop-down menu.

3. Select approximately how much more humid the running conditions will be than you are accustomed to running in. For example, if you have been training in 50% humidity, and today it is 75% humidity, then select “20+” from the drop-down menu.

The calculator will take these inputs, and determine how much your performance will be degraded due to the conditions, and then adjust the training metric(s), accordingly.
