QT2.0 Service Descriptions

QT2 currently offers four distinct coaching and training services: QT2.0 1-1 Comprehensive Coaching, QT2.0 1-1 Coaching, Base+ Coaching, and Base+ Coach Support. All four are grounded in the same QT2.0 StressLogic framework and block periodization model. What differentiates them is not quality - it is the cadence of Coach involvement, the depth of personalization, and the scope of Coach responsibility.

This document defines each service clearly, explains who it is designed for, and outlines your specific responsibilities as a Coach within each. Read it carefully. When an athlete's needs or expectations are not aligned with their service tier, it is your responsibility to recognize that and communicate it - both to the athlete and to QT2 leadership.

Service 02

QT2.0 1-1 Coaching
Directed Oversight
1-1 Coaching

QT2.0 1-1 Coaching is fully individualized coaching with intentional boundaries around the scope of Coach involvement. Like 1-1 Comprehensive Coaching, you build and oversee the athlete's training using the QT2.0 Block Periodization model and StressLogic framework on a weekly basis. The key difference is that your involvement is deliberate and signal-driven - you intervene when meaningful signals warrant it, not as a matter of routine weekly refinement.

This service sits between fully adaptive 1-1 Comprehensive Coaching and block-based Base+ Coaching. It is designed for athletes who want a real Coach building and overseeing their training every week - but who don't need or want continuous, proactive engagement. The athlete values clarity, direction, and autonomy over constant coaching presence.

Who this athlete is
  • Wants a Coach building and overseeing their training every week
  • Comfortable executing independently without constant check-ins
  • Values deliberate, signal-driven Coach involvement over continuous engagement
  • Does not need or want unlimited communication
  • Wants a clear step up from Base+ without committing to full 1-1 Comprehensive
Your responsibilities as the coach
  • Build and oversee fully individualized training using QT2.0 Block Periodization and StressLogic, delivered on a weekly basis
  • Apply StressLogic weekly to guide training load decisions - adjusting when meaningful performance, recovery, or execution signals indicate a need for change
  • Provide feedback on Key, Quality, and Long workouts each week
  • Monitor overall training direction and intervene deliberately - not reflexively
  • Interpret training trends and execution patterns at the weekly level
  • Facilitate and analyze CP/CS field testing to maintain accurate training zones
  • Fully manage the athlete's Performance Management Chart (PMC)
  • Maintain structured, athlete-driven communication - respond promptly, but do not need to initiate constant outreach
Included
  • Weekly individualized training delivery
  • Weekly StressLogic application
  • Feedback on Key, Quality & Long sessions
  • Deliberate, signal-driven adjustments
  • Full PMC management
  • CP/CS testing and analysis
  • Structured athlete-driven communication
Not included
  • Daily workout feedback
  • Unlimited or proactively initiated communication
  • Fueling recommendations
  • Individualized swim programming
  • Day-to-day plan micromanagement
Triathlon/Multisport - Standard Coach$350 / 4 weeks
Triathlon/Multisport - Master Coach$395 / 4 weeks
Single-Sport - Standard Coach$225 / 4 weeks
Single-Sport - Master Coach$250 / 4 weeks
When to escalate: If an athlete in 1-1 Coaching frequently requests daily feedback, unlimited communication, or expects proactive adjustments to every training week, they should be moved to QT2.0 1-1 Comprehensive Coaching. Have that conversation directly and notify QT2 leadership.
Service 03

Base+ Coaching
Block Structure. Real Engagement.
Base+ Coaching

Base+ Coaching is a block-based training service with real Coach engagement. Unlike 1-1 Comprehensive Coaching and 1-1 Coaching, training is not recalibrated on a weekly basis in response to qualitative signals. Instead, training is delivered in four-week blocks - built by a real QT2 Coach, grounded in the StressLogic framework, and customized to the athlete's sport, volume environment, and season.

What distinguishes Base+ Coaching from Base+ Coach Support is the Coach engagement layer: regular communication throughout the block, consistent feedback on Key, Quality, and Long sessions, and block-to-block progression guided by your interpretation as a Coach. The athlete is in a real coaching relationship - just not one that demands weekly recalibration.

The Base+ Coaching athlete is typically someone who is developing their training literacy, needs interpretive support and regular feedback to understand what their body is telling them, but whose life is stable enough that week-to-week adjustment isn't necessary. They want a Coach - not just a plan - and they want to be heard between blocks.

Who this athlete is
  • Wants a real coaching relationship with regular communication and feedback
  • Comfortable with block-based training delivery (four-week cycles)
  • Does not need week-to-week plan recalibration based on qualitative signals
  • Still developing their training literacy - benefits from Coach interpretation and feedback
  • Has a consistent enough schedule that four-week blocks hold without weekly adjustment
  • Values an accessible investment over full 1-1 Coaching
Your responsibilities as the coach
  • Build and customize the athlete's four-week training block using QT2.0 Block Periodization and StressLogic, applied at the block level - not weekly
  • Begin from the QT2 Central pre-built block framework, then edit and customize to fit the athlete's specific needs, goals, and sport/volume environment
  • Maintain regular communication throughout the block - both Coach-initiated and athlete-initiated
  • Provide consistent feedback on Key, Quality, and Long sessions throughout every block
  • Interpret execution patterns and guide the athlete's understanding of their training throughout the block
  • At the end of each block, review performance and build the next block with that context in mind - block-to-block progression, not week-to-week redesign
  • Set up and maintain accurate training zones via CP/CS field testing and analysis
Included
  • 4-week blocks built and customized by you
  • StressLogic applied at block level
  • Regular communication - both directions
  • Feedback on Key, Quality & Long sessions
  • Block-to-block progression
  • CP/CS testing and zone setup
  • QT2 Community access via Telegram
Not included
  • Weekly StressLogic recalibration
  • Week-to-week qualitative signal interpretation
  • Day-to-day plan adjustments
  • Fueling recommendations
  • Unlimited communication
  • Swim technical progression
Multisport$275 / 4 weeks
Single-Sport$205 / 4 weeks
When to escalate: If an athlete in Base+ Coaching consistently needs week-to-week plan adjustments based on qualitative signals, they belong in QT2.0 1-1 Coaching. Communicate this clearly and loop in QT2 leadership.
Service 04

Base+ Coach Support
The System, Your Way.
Base+ Coach Support

Base+ Coach Support is QT2's most self-directed service. The athlete gets a Coach-built, StressLogic-grounded four-week training block, accurate zone setup via CP/CS testing, and reactive Coach availability - but they execute largely independently. Your role is to build the system correctly, set the athlete up for success, and be available when they reach out.

Think of this relationship like a knowledgeable resource the athlete can call on. You built the plan. You set the zones. You're available. But you are not actively managing their training week to week, and you are not initiating regular outreach. The athlete is in the driver's seat.

The primary athlete for this service is experienced and autonomous - they know how to train, they trust a good framework, and they don't want to be managed. A secondary athlete is newer and cost-conscious - they may need more than this tier ideally offers, but the framework will serve them and the Coach is available when they reach out.

Who this athlete is
  • Self-directed and comfortable executing a plan independently
  • Wants the system built right - zones accurate, blocks sound - without being managed
  • Initiates Coach contact on their own terms, not on a set schedule
  • Has a consistent enough schedule that four-week blocks hold without adjustment
  • Experienced athlete who can self-interpret most training signals
  • OR: newer athlete who is cost-conscious and will reach out when they have questions
Your responsibilities as the coach
  • Build and customize the athlete's four-week training block from the QT2 Central framework, adapted to their sport, volume, and season
  • Set up accurate training zones via CP/CS field testing and keep them current
  • Welcome the athlete at onboarding, orient them to the program, ensure they understand how to use it
  • Be available and responsive via TrainingPeaks notes when the athlete reaches out - but you do not initiate regular outreach
  • Provide feedback on up to five (5) workouts per block, upon request - this is a hard cap
  • At the end of each block, review block-level progression signals and build the next block accordingly
  • Adjust the next block based on how the current one unfolded - not week to week
Included
  • 4-week blocks built and customized by you
  • StressLogic applied at block level
  • Athlete-initiated communication via TrainingPeaks
  • Up to five (5) workout feedbacks per block, on request
  • CP/CS testing and zone setup
  • Block-to-block adjustments
  • QT2 Community access via Telegram
Not included
  • Weekly StressLogic recalibration
  • Regular or ongoing workout feedback
  • Proactive Coach outreach or check-ins
  • Unlimited communication
  • Fueling recommendations
  • Swim technical progression
Multisport$155 / 4 weeks
Single-Sport$115 / 4 weeks
Important: The 5-workout feedback cap is a hard limit. If an athlete is consistently requesting more feedback than this tier provides, they are signaling that they belong in Base+ Coaching. Do not exceed the cap - escalate instead.
When to escalate: If an athlete in Coach Support is regularly requesting feedback beyond the 5-workout cap, initiating frequent communication, or showing signs they need interpretive support throughout their training, they should be moved to Base+ Coaching. Communicate this to the athlete and to QT2 leadership.

Coach Guidance

When to Escalate a Service Tier

Every athlete should be in the service tier that matches how they actually want to train. When there is a mismatch - either the athlete is asking for more than their tier includes, or they are paying for more than they need - it is your job to recognize it and act on it. Do not silently absorb out-of-scope requests. Do not over-deliver beyond the service definition without escalating. The service tiers only work if we hold them clearly.

Signs an athlete needs to move up a tier
  • Requesting daily feedback when enrolled in QT2.0 1-1 Coaching or Base+ Coaching
  • Frequently initiating communication that exceeds the scope of their tier
  • Regularly needing week-to-week plan adjustments in a block-based tier
  • Requesting feedback beyond the 5-workout cap in Base+ Coach Support
  • Expressing frustration that they are not hearing from their Coach proactively
  • Showing signs of a highly variable life schedule that a block-based service cannot accommodate
Signs an athlete may be in a higher tier than they need
  • Rarely communicates with their Coach in a 1-1 tier
  • Has an extremely consistent, predictable schedule with few disruptions
  • Is highly experienced and self-interpreting - doesn't appear to use the Coach feedback they're paying for
  • Has expressed cost sensitivity while maintaining a higher tier
Always communicate tier changes to QT2 leadership. Do not unilaterally change an athlete's service tier. Raise the situation, document the conversation with the athlete, and let leadership manage the transition.
