2023 Philadelphia Race Weekend Training & Coaching Program

Wrap up your season with QT2 Run at the Philadelphia Race Weekend on November 18th/19th. You will have the option of racing the 8K or Half Marathon on Saturday, the Marathon on Sunday, or pick one of the challenges, combining races.  All races start on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway and traverse through downtown Philadelphia.  No matter your experience or current fitness, we have a training plan or coaching option for you.  Training begins the week of August 28th and runs for twelve weeks.   

The Program Includes:

Your selected 12 week training option: Beginner Training Plan, Mission Plan or One-on One Coaching. 

If you don’t already have one, a Training Peaks account will be set up for you. Training Peaks will deliver your workouts daily, to your inbox, and you can use the Training Peaks app to track your training!

Virtual Zoom Meet-Ups throughout the program, where the Team Coaches will give a short talk on varying training related topics and you can meet up with your teammates.

Access to a special channel on the QT2 Forum where you can communicate with your teammates and coaches.

*Race Registration for the Philadelphia Marathon weekend is NOT included in the program fee. Register for your race HERE.

You will have three training options available:

*Beginner Training Plan - $175

The Beginner Training Plan option is designed for runners interested in completing the distance. The training plan includes 3-4 run days per week, and offers an option of a walk to run build. This is an ideal option for a newer runner looking for a structured plan with general coaching guidance and the camaraderie of training and racing with a team. Available for the 8K and half marathon.

*Mission Plan - $275

The Mission Plan option is an individualized training program designed specifically for you to fit your personal training volume and schedule, and help you reach your race goals.  This plan includes a once weekly check-in from a coach, and is an ideal option for the more experienced runner looking for a structured plan without daily feedback.  Available for all distances and levels.  Please note that for the marathon or challenge events, it is expected that you will have a base entering into the program.

*One-on-One Coaching - $550 

The One-on-One Coaching option offers an individualized training program plus regular feedback from your coach, including review of training data, individualized guidance on pacing, and as needed adjustments to your training schedule.  This option is ideal for the runner looking for consistent interaction. Available for all distances and levels.  Please note that for the marathon or challenge events, it is expected that you will have a base entering into the program.
