This Weekend
This weekend is not a fitness event — it is a reconnaissance mission. Every mile you cover this weekend is a mile you have already raced before you pin on your bib in July. You will leave Lake Placid knowing exactly what race day looks like, feels like, and demands from you.
Our job this weekend is simple: put you on the course, give you the information you need, and make sure you arrive at race day with zero unknowns. Swim the water. Ride the roads. Run the hills. Do it at the right intensity — controlled, deliberate, purposeful.
For those not participating in the Lake Placid Half Marathon, we will discuss where you will best be able to do your long run, without bumping into the race.

You have put in the work to get here. This weekend was the final piece — the course is no longer a mystery, the roads are no longer unknown, and the water is no longer unfamiliar.
In July, you race with confidence because you have already been there. Trust the training. Execute the plan. We will see you at the Oval.
